This was a secret benefit gig, the band was billed as "The Four Horsemen". And they were drunk! :) This was the first time the band ever played this historic venue. 'We have finally made it to Ruthies' - Jaymz. This source surfaced only in Jan. 2007 and there was no equilizing done to it, so i guess there's a room for improvement but in general it does sound like a very good 20+ y.o. recording! One of the rare occasions the band covered "The Money Will Roll Right In" by a punk band named "Fang". The band planned to record this song (along with 'The Prince') for b-sides to whatever singles came off the 'Puppets' album. The tracks never got past the basic James/Lars scratch tracks, which is a bummer. 'Hey we are Bon Jovi! Hope we are not that heavy for you!' Really cool and funny early metallica show! Recommended!
