It was my second time seeing the legends live. The same venue, just some 7 years have passed. It's evident one should not attend the DP gig if they want to hear Ian singing like in, say, 1972. Yes Gillan (as well as we are btw) is getting older and older, but the band still gives a wonderful performance with, i'd say, improvisation of good old stuff just to make it sound great. The setlist is really good with solos by almost all band members. I was in the VIP area (floors seats right behind the standing area, thanks to my lovely wife) and was afraid of people talking around me but I'm happy that nothing interfered the music. I'm really happy with the tape and hope you will be too.
If you don't mind I would like to dedicate this piece of music/bootlegging history to my mom, who is seriously ill now and who introduced me to DP back in 1985 when I was 7 by giving me 'Machine Head' tape. She loves DP but due to the aforementioned health state could not attend the gig...
